Dusty environments require the use of passive cooling equipment or a camera with special covers that protect the machine vision lens from splashing liquid.
Connectivity and user outputs
In addition to the design of the scanning system and the provision of input image data for the acquisition and subsequent processing of the required information, the necessary connectivity is also addressed. The system can also be integrated with programmable logic controllers. The system can communicate using digital signals, use fieldbuses, or connect to enterprise information systems or manufacturing information systems.
The method and form of publishing user outputs, which are defined in cooperation with the customer, is also very important. These can be simple information messages, numerical measurement values, images with graphics or graphs. You can choose from several options to view the inspection results. Often, only a display connected to the system and located in operation may be fully sufficient. More complex outputs are then written to a file or database or made available to the user using a web application that presents the results on any device connected to the Internet using a web browser.
